From Outer Circle of Connaught Place to Windsor Palace, Janpath, meaning ‘people’s path’ was formerly known as the Queen’s Way. Janpath houses long lines of shops, street vendors, which makes it a fantasy land especially for tourists, students, and bargain hunters. You can find anything and everything here – Daily wear clothes, ethnic dresses, kolhapuri jootis, leather footwear, mojris, bangles, junk jewelry, silver jewelry, Indian handicrafts, carpets, furniture, and what not!

This blog does not have all the pictures of items that are for sale there, as I wanted it to be a blog having portraits. The real faces of people in Janpath, their plight in working under such a bad heat. I have captured some faces in Janpath the last time I went there. You might see them on a regular basis there. You guys are already accustomed with what Janpath has in store for you. So the people, in portraits, living a patient life. A life that has a struggle, a continuous longing for something better.

Hope you liked them :)
