The Secrets of Yamuna Bank

As I mentioned in my last blog, Tushar and I went to the Yamuna Bank for his photo shoot. Little did we know, Yamuna bank has all the beauty and little things in and around. While he was busy finding places for the pictures, I clicked some of the random faces there.

The kids were so happy to see me click their pictures. They jumped, played with water and moreover helped us reach the inner gardens and areas to click. It is all surrounded by small nurseries all over. There were fields of wheat, forests of eucalyptus and groves of marigold. The people takes good care of the land, trees, harvest crops, maintains stables, and even buys and sells different plants. Their small world is made of wildflowers, mud paths, tilled fields and the sacred river.

All of it and more lies right in the heart of smoggy, congested and concrete Delhi. It is only a 10-minute walk from the Yamuna Bank Metro Station and perhaps also the hundreds of other secluded huts that dot the eastern banks of the Yamuna Bank are home to the people living there. Also, you guys already saw the pictures from my last blog, "An epic tale of foe and bro!", which came out to be pretty good thou! This photo walk was surely a beautiful memory to cherish! :)

Until next time! xx
